🇬🇧ENG (1/6)- What is PROTEOblood? It is a Franco-Spanish network for the development of personalized therapies in 2 very common 🩸blood cancers but with little therapeutic alternative: Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma (DLBCL) and Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML)

These last days we have held at @institutjosepcarreras the last annual PROTEOBLOOD meeting. Two days full of scientific discussions and laboratory practices with our extraordinary partners and friends from the consortium.

from @IQS have isolated a first set of selective pharmacological hits against #LUBAC ubiquitin ligase complex, with promising activity in DLBCL and AML preclinical models which has been tested in @CarrerasIJC
Enormously satisfied to have been able to hold this 2-days meeting in person at @CarrerasIJC , sharing scientific discussions and laboratory practices with our extraordinary partners and friends from the @proteoblood consortium.
➕We're glad to receive today in our Institute researchers from the centers involved in @proteoblood to hold the Closure Meeting of the project. Cooperation is key in research and this project is an example of it!👏
🤝The Spanish-French project @proteoblood coordinated by our Group Leader @GaelRoueBCN, from the Lymphoma Translational lab (@roue_s).
Its aim is to study hemostatic proteins in two prevalent types of #leukemia and #lymphoma and develop personalized treatments to cure them.

We've talked, among other subjects, about the existing and future innovative preclinical models of cancer developed by @roue_s and the ongoing studies at @IQSbarcelona and potential applications for the design of anti-cancer therapies. Great science 🧬🔬⚗️!!!
💡Finally the health situation has enabled us to held a face2face meeting at @CarrerasIJC between @roue_s and our partners from the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Group from @IQSbarcelona to share our joint effort searching for new treatments against 🩸#leukemia 🩸 and 🩸#lymphoma 🩸
