Mastercard paid $1.8B for a company doing $40M in revenue. That's 45x. And they weren't even the first choice, Coinbase tried to buy BVNK for $2B and walked away.
This is what the stablecoin land grab actually looks like. Stripe paid $1.1B for Bridge 17 months ago. Mastercard just beat that by 64%. The price of entry keeps climbing because the window to buy this infrastructure is closing fast.
Visa saw it coming too, they were literally investors in BVNK. Just went a different direction and built it in-house instead.
$33 trillion in stablecoin volume in 2025. The old-guard payment networks know what's coming.
