Think of yourself as an LLM.
Every social interaction, every meeting, burns your tokens.
Unless someone is a paid subscriber to your attention, you are under no obligation to answer low-quality prompts.
In this era the founder quality is basically all that matters... it is insane to see the gap between excelent founders vs. those who are merely good -- even the 'pitch' / business they are giving you is just a litmus test on the person.
The US Federal Gvt collects $5.2 trillion in taxes per year but can't deliver working healthcare, functional infrastructure, or effective regulation. Meanwhile, a 22-year-old with Claude just built a working prototype of a government service in an afternoon.
If you ever wondered about how I make stuff, but are too shy to just – ask (I get it lol)
You can subscribe to the Builder plan which comes with unlimited BYOK of https://t.co/0eCJTyIvz4, where I share weekly templates for game design and art for you to start with.

everyone: being a solo founder is taxing, there are long hours, it's isolating, it's stressful, lots of no's, rejection left and right, you might not even make money
me: *isolated, broke, taxed, 4 hours deep in my 16 hr work day as the solo founder of an immersive live development company after being rejected left and right*
also me: *still going* *more annoying than ever* *about to be tagging everyone*
i have a very "Mr. Miyagi" approach to project management – IYKYK
people mock me, call me lazy, say I lack direction and education...
next thing you know, they blink their dusty eyes and they realize they're playing catch up.
@awesome_visuals@nikitabier@allegrajacchia Hi @nikitabier – we know you are slammed with policing content thieves (thank you), but could you take a moment to advocate for content originators, as well? Please take a look into Awesome_Visuals' account. He is making authentic, original, and funny content.
"F*ck AI from a filmmaker who build entire worlds using CGI, motion capture, digital compositing, virtual cameras,"
...all things that require talent and education
that AI users try to bypass & then award themselves cus their work still pales in comparison to educated artists (whether self-taught for years, or formally educated – I mean people who put the time in).
I'm pro-AI, but I also have a few of the aforementioned skills from work and education, and I don't text to prompt. I draw storyboards, play instruments on my sound track, sound design, create my characters, color grade (poorly still lol)...
all for some "AI influencer" to see my work as a cheap prompt wrapper.
Neither your take or his is wrong, but it's time for AI artists to respect that people who use AI/technology to expedite workflows are not the same as you writing some prompts and editing them together.
Stop.
Real digital artists have the right to say you're lazy and taking shortcuts. They even have the right to say I am (and they do, my opinion isn't popular being an advocate of both real art and AI).
But what I am saying is right, whether folks like it or not.
A shortcut and a talent are not the same.
F*ck AI from a filmmaker who built entire worlds using CGI, motion capture, digital compositing, virtual cameras, and enough render farms to heat a small country is peak cinema irony.,
He said it like AI personally stole his Oscar.
Cinema people really love technology… right until the next generation gets access to it too.
When rich studios use machines:
innovation.
future of storytelling.
cinematic evolution.
When independent creators use AI:
destroying art.
soulless.
dangerous.
Now AI scares people who built careers being impossible to compete with.
