Had an amazing time at Dublin Comic Con, where IMIRT invited me to showcase my game!
Met a lot of great people, talked a ton, handed out way too much candy, and completely destroyed my throat in the process xD

A few years ago, CD PROJEKT RED genuinely changed the direction of my life.
I finished The Witcher 3 and something clicked. Read all the books, went back to The Witcher 2 and 1 - and at some point realized I wanted to make games myself.
Back then, that felt completely unrealistic. But here I am..
I’m building my own game on Steam now. And a little while ago, someone emailed me saying my work inspired them to start making their own game too❤️
That one hit me. One game, made by people who care, can quietly change someone’s whole path… CRAZY

If someone asked me to describe my game in one sentence, I’d say this:
If Balatro and chess had a wild night together, my game would be the result.

@vieko Absolutely agree. A lot of well known, great games started as game jam projects, and even Shroom and Gloom, which Devolver Digital is publishing right now, was originally made for a game jam. Maybe it’s fate😏
I had the idea for my game (CHARK) long before I actually made it♟️
when I finally sat down to build it, it was for a brackeys game jam. the theme?
"Cookies"🍪
I wanted to make this game so badly that I forced cookies into a chess roguelike. food became artifacts and somehow... it worked?
the whole identity of the game exists because a game jam told me to put cookies in chess.

@planter222 I think this is an issue with the tutorial, and I’m going to fix it soon so it’s easier for people to understand how to play and what’s expected of them. Thanks for the feedback!
