That silence was the thing Fmr. State Dept Aaron David Miller kept circling. Either the president doesn't want to escalate... or the quiet is cover for what's already moving. Refuelers, F-15s, F-16s, F-35s flowing toward Israel. Not the coastal campaign Centcom has been running. Something much wider.

Wars end, Miller said, when 3 things become true at once: both sides stop believing time is on their side, both stop believing escalation helps, and the pain becomes intolerable. Zartman called it the hurting stalemate.

Washington and Tehran currently meet zero of the 3. Both think they're winning. Both think escalation is an asset. Both think they can take it.

🚨🇬🇧 Nearly 2,500 rapists and pedophiles are set to be released early from UK prisons this September.

It's part of Labour's plans to tackle overcrowding in prisons... and that problem is understandable, but the solution is NOT.

2,462 offenders, including 100+ rapists who were sentenced to 15+ years, will be eligible for early release.

Andy Burnham, who becomes PM tomorrow, is reviewing how to EXEMPT rapists and child groomers despite the 2026 Sentencing Act.

As we all well know by now from Rupert Lowe's Rape Gang Report, there are enough sickos on the UK's streets... they DON'T need 2,500 more!!!
