it’s strange how some people can look at something created with so much thought, meaning and sincerity and still choose to focus on finding something to criticize. instead of appreciating the beauty of Mark’s art, the message he wants to convey and the vulnerability it takes to +
the fact no one has been brave enough to argue with this because it requires at least one critical thinking brain cell is so funnyjtjrjddkd they literally just said “well… don’t tune in”
we could argue semantics all day but the bottom line is art is subjective and the people finding the religious undertones of his art to be pushing a certain agenda are totally valid, especially those from other faiths/non religious folk who find it uncomfortable!!
with the rise of puritan culture and the trad wife agenda… not a fan. i literally just saw a man pray over his wife’s period to keep her in check for being emotional etc. very weird stuff be going on with some religious folk. mark will be in my thoughts but not in my prayers
im even more excited that they’re consistently describing upper room as a creative company and not just a music label. imagine the possibilities! podcast, docuseries, nothing is off the table.
It’s really not surprising when people put a part of themselves into what they create. Everyone has values and beliefs that shape them and give them purpose. As long as those beliefs aren’t harming anyone and are helping that person grow, there’s nothing wrong with that.
Looks like Mark’s label is about to show the industry what proper management, proper promotion, artist protection, and handling rumors actually look like 😌
The moment it had the potential to become something else, he drew the line. He never tried to turn it into a lesson for others, a debate, or something people were expected to follow. He simply spoke about a part of his life that mattered to him.
Thank you @upperroomlabel for speaking up promptly to destroy the rubbish articles and baseless speculations of @Koreaboo . Our CEO LEE MARK always wisely gives opinions to destroy those who want to destroy @upperroomlabel#MARK#마크리
