a good show but expecting a 1:1 with animation is just silly. Different budgets , time constraints, all the actors, cgi involved. And if we got a Netflix one piece level adaptation it would be worse for the franchise

There is no objectivity in art. U are on a high horse not realising that most media is not translated 1:1 as both have elements the other cannot capture and writers require some level of freedom

Lanterns is objectively not a good adaptation. Ppl praising it as a good show doesnt automatically make it a good adaptation which seems to not be clicking for you. The show misinterprets or just completely cuts out integral aspects of GL lore to be palatable for ppl like you
