They really took road trips away from us in Nigeria, as a child i enjoyed road trips to the east, they were fun and i looked forward to it and this government stole that from us.
In 1966, All African counties boycotted the World Cup to protest apartheid and how black South Africans were marginalized
In 2026, All African countries supported Mexico against South Africa in protest against their xenophobia
Live long enough
My father is not Otedola
But my mother never lifted a finger to work during any of her pregnancies.
She is still a size 8 at 67+ because daddy keeps funding her healthy feeding
I grew up eating veggies like Broccoli, kale, cauliflower, zucchini, radishes etc because my father could afford paying for them to be brought fresh from Jos for his wife monthly.
My mom grows berries, custard apples and other exotic fruits at home because her husband could afford a house with enough land for her horticultural garden and is building her a bigger house with even more land for gardening
If I say I want a man with my father’s money A LOT of you in this generation won’t be able to afford 1% of the comfort he gave and still gives my mom.
I eat salads, drink green teas constantly and I know how expensive they are. The average Nigerian man cannot daily pay 12k for breakfast and dinner salad (I am doing this for myself as a single woman because I grew up eating this way).
Otedola is far, middle income fathers exist and a lot of you small boys still can’t afford the things our middle class fathers can afford but keep talking.
why do "balls" imply toughness and "pussy" imply weakness when the slightest flick to the nuts sends a guy to his knees, yet a vagina can push out an entire being.?????
"Ah mas ele/a me ama."
Amor (relacionamento) acaba!
"Ah mas é pro nosso futuro!"
De quem foi a ideia? Alguém tem que ter os pés no chão, ou então serão2 passando fome.
"Ah mas é ofensivo."
Só se ofende quem já está mal intencionado.
Tá cheio de histórias de gente que vendeu a casa que construiu pros filhos pra investir em alguma ideia mirabolante da parceria e depois nem o relacionamento existe mais.
Water, electricity and good roads didn't get to your area/town, but election materials will get there.
They didn't forget you, they just don't care about your existence. 😝
Maturing is realizing that Patience Jonathan was one of the most impactful First Ladies in Nigeria’s history. She couldn’t express herself very well in English, but she managed to pass her message across everytime.
She had empathy.
She’s 100x the woman Remi Tinubu will never be.
I’m telling you that your government doesn’t respect you enough to rescue kidnapped babies in a bid to convince you to vote for them, instead, are relying on rice campaign and you’re crying.
See you, see your chains.
Elections are coming. Tell them to have shame and pretend to give a crumb of a fuck.
If not for anything, for children whose only crime is trying to get an education.
if you are an observant person
a man who is keen, and concerned about his consciousness
you will realise something unusual is happening
there is a silent shift going on
we are moving from an ownership economy to a SUBSCRIPTION ECONOMY.
in a subscription economy, you own nothing, but you pay for goods and services which you consume
for example
back in the 90s
we bought and owned music hardware like cassettes and discs
this ensured that the music hardware was yours and nobody would charge you a recurring monthly fee to play music
we owned newspapers and kept them
we bought and owned books
we owned letters written to us
we bought, and claimed ownership
but this is changing, and it is concerning,
in a subscription economy, you own nothing, but you pay for it.
phones and electric bikes are examples of how we have lost ownership of what we have bought.
it will reach a time where,
• you won't make a call, unless you subscribe to a calling service, on top of buying airtime
• you won't send an email unless you subscribe, or you will lose all your emails
• you won't listen to music unless you pay a monthly subscription fee for streaming
• you won't send a text or a WhatsApp message unless you subscribe to a monthly fee, or get used to annoying advertisements
• you won't cook food unless you pay for a monthly gas subscription plan or pay double for electricity
• you won't drink clean water unless you subscribe to a monthly water delivery plan.
ultimately, you won't own land or a house or a cow
you will own nothing, and you will be happy. kek
you will become a slave of the subscription economy.
that day is coming.
if you are wise
• go to a rural area
• own land
• get solar
• sink your borehole
• keep poultry, cows, goats and sheep
• grow your food.
don’t sit in the city like sheep.
freedom will be given to those who will defeat the subscription economy.

Several cases have been documented across the world. Hold on let me share.
In Bangladesh, a 20yr old morgue assistant was arrested after DNA evidence confirmed he had sexually assaulted six dead women aged between 12 and 20yr old. The bodies had been kept in the morgue overnight, and he was the attendant on duty each time. His sperm was found in all six victims.
In Ohio, a morgue attendant named Kenneth Douglas was charged with sexually assaulting the body of a 19yr old murder victim. He worked at the morgue where her body was taken for testing. DNA evidence eventually caught him. He had also worked as a morgue attendant for years .
In Bangladesh, a 20yr old morgue assistant was convicted of raping six female corpses ranging from 12 to 20yrs of age. A forensic lab report confirmed the presence of his sperm in all six bodies. The bodies had been kept at the morgue before autopsies where he was present.
This is one of the reasons why some morgues stich the genitals of the women to prevent this. When you say we should attack the elephant in the room they'll start saying you are generalizing when you are clearly not.
boyfriend of 7 years. Has never gone in my purse, even when I have told him he could. He brings the purse to me. Never opens mail that has my name on it. Never answers my phone, reads my texts, emails. Nothing. When a friend of mine comes over to talk, he goes in the other room or takes the dog for a walk. That is how a decent, respectful man behaves.
My in-laws came from Nigeria to visit us, and they brought fufu.
I was at work when they got home, but by the time I finished and got back to the house, my mother-in-law had cooked one bastard egusi soup and told me there was fufu waiting with it.
fufu slander won’t be tolerated.
Leave Egyptians first
Many cultures in Nigerian adorn their waist with beads, their ankles with amulet & anklets, even nose piercings....
But thanks to colonization, it's now prostitution and lesbianism...
It's only when it's polygamy they will open their unbrushed mouth to be shouting culture
Women: I want to go for a run.
Society: You can’t go alone. You’ll get raped.
Women: I want to walk to my car in the parking garage.
Society: Alone? You better get someone to escort you, or you’ll get raped.
Women: I want to live alone.
Society: You need a gun, an alarm system, a dog and probably a gun for the dog too.
Women: What about going to the park?
Society: Dangerous.
Women: Okay, I’ll just go out for a drink then.
Society: Don’t take your eyes off your drink. Watch out for predators spiking your drinks. Stay alert at all times.
Women: I was raped.
Society: Are you sure? That just seems impossible.
