@BerbarianWizard In terms of changing standards I think leanness is a big one. You weren’t expected to be as cut and dry and as such the guys generally looked fuller (even if they were smaller) and healthier on stage.

Often people I know will agree with everything I say until I call myself a racist because to them it means “irrational hate”. I use the term too but there’s probably a better one that doesn’t carry the baggage.

@conan_esq There’s levels, the bookish chuds I know have a rough pecking order:
1. Thrifting books (or pdfs depending on type)
2. Audio books
3. Used book stores
4. Online shopping

They are all constantly reading and every meme I’ve seen them make is retarded.
