I think one of the hardest things about being a content creator is when people stop supporting you when they realize you can’t be “friends” with them.

I’ve had so many bad experiences in the past when I’ve tried to get to know my viewers on a more personal level. People either get the wrong idea, or they start to feel entitled to your time and energy.

Unfortunately those experiences set the precedent to how I approach these types of things today. I love my viewers, and I am grateful for the support they have given me, but it’s impossible to cultivate real, valuable friendships with everyone!

I am one person, and although it means a lot to me to feel like people want to be friends, I just don’t have the bandwidth to give that energy to everyone. It’s never personal, and I wish more people would understand that ♥️
