@FlySafair@travelstart So waited 10min for sup on duty having had to provide history to agent 4 umpteenth time. Short answer? No deal. Yesterday agent from TravelStart where I was referred by @FlySafair said all charges were the airline’s not theirs. Sup says not true. I’m not up to this tit-for-tat.
Why fly @FlySafair@wendyknowler? My sister-in-law died yesterday, I’m in mourning. Her funeral’s Thursday 10h30. I’m going to a family wedding in Jhb. In March I booked a midday flight & paid extra for flexitime, seat reservation and 20kg luggage. Sympathy fm airline?
Paid extra R1283 for 16h40 flight change & admin to @FlySafair and if I’d chosen aisle seat next to empty middle seat extra charge of R750! Aisle seat is my preference and my original paid booking. So much for flexi option and so much for my circumstances, they don’t care.

The @flysafair agent said problem lay with @TravelStart who booked my ticket. The TS agent confirmed I bought flexi but said the charge for changing flights was the airline’s. I objected, asked to speak to the supervisor. She said sup would call me back. I’m still waiting
The flight at 16:20 costs R983 EXTRA. My flexi doesn’t count and they charge a R300 admin fee. I lost my reserved seat and they “gave” me another but if I chose a seat on the aisle next to an empty middle seat, they charge R750 for this audacity.
I appreciate @WOOLWORTHS_SA’s letter to its customers yesterday though I did wonder why the only signatory was Spencer Sonn, Chief Customer Officer. Not to nitpick such a serious subject, the Incoming Group CEO Sam Ngumeni or his predecessor’s name should have been included.
The PC board of my @SamsungSA side-by-side fridge bought 4 1\2 years ago blew up on 5/5. Part has to come to CT fm Joburg. They said it wld take 5 working days. 7 working days later it still hasn’t arrived. This in 21st Century. No more Samsung products for me @wendyknowler
I ordered a heater fm #Litehouse which #theCourierGuy claims he tried to deliver but “no-one at home”. The only way in is by phoning me - never got a call. I’m recuperating from an op so very much at home. #courierguy wants payment for “re-delivery”. Litehouse, over to you.
@helenzille Part of the problem is voters’ intransigence. If anyone can make a difference, it’s Helen Zille. You don’t have to like her - the facts speak for themselves. Come on, people, vote with your heads. The time for party loyalty is over.
What, no thanks? No record of my donations? He thrust a book at me which asked if I’d like an acknowledgement and I said yes. No thank you note arrived and who knows where my once-loved goods ended up.
Don’t take your donations to @StLukesSA in Kenilworth. A month ago I took bedding and beautiful floor- length curtains to them. A man grudgingly asked if I needed help & carried some of the bags which he threw in a room & told me to do likewise. Is that it, I asked?
Last week at #CafeduCap in Newlands, I ordered cheese soufflé on the breakfast menu which states breakfast is served till 11h30. It was 10h30 when I placed my order. Waiter says chef says it takes too long @wendyknowler
I regularly walk 2 #Newlands village and for 4 yrs hv asked for 2 teabags tea at #CafeduCap. The prices vary. Last wk it was R30, today R54. Asked why, a waiter says for 2 teabags. He says it should be in 2 teapots. Revised amount: R27 @wendyknowler
Sept 25 I tweeted @WOOLWORTHS_SA’s new loyalty programme was appalling. A DM told me someone wld call me. Yesterday 13 Feb 26 WW called: “Vouchers will be awarded according to spend” (I’m a VIP customer). Today’s msg fm WW: “We’ve resolved yr loyalty query.” Don’t make me laugh.
@567CapeTalk I gave someone a lift to the taxi rank in Claremont at 5 pm and only got home to Newlands now at 18:37. All the roads are closed off because our president had not yet left Genadendalh.
