@QuestionStan23 Oh ok what was it when they were saying this about Hawkeye tho?

it's always been a thing with non-powered heroes. I agree it's dumb as well but I don't think this is that. Now the people who refuse to accept Sam as Captain America are basically the KKK

[Random Person @Proxiie_]

@unicorn_barfing @mukualt that's fair tbh they do offscreen the confrontation which I think clearly happened due to the fact that they're not on speaking terms

we sort of miss out on the huge fight explosion, instead we're left to marinate on the aftermath of the fight which imo works well as well

[Random Person @Proxiie_]

@cookiesandkofi @mukualt well if you bothered to open the replies you would see how I wasn't able to fit everything into one post and had subsequent follow ups to expand more on how I interpreted the show. How about you share some original thought instead of parroting what everyone else is saying?

[Random Person @Proxiie_]

@unicorn_barfing @mukualt I think the show is trying to get us to understand the actions, but not support it. I think it's more about power and manipulation and corruption.

They show us how John's childhood fucked him up and
we understand WHY John's mom did what she did but she's still a crazy bitch

[Random Person @Proxiie_]

@cookiesandkofi @mukualt oh and if you need proof of manipulation:

[Random Person @Proxiie_]

@cookiesandkofi @mukualt I think John used Kerry as the lens to understand his mother. He realizes that, like Kerry, she was a terrified mother. His mom did terrible things but John blames the guardian cuz she was clearly manipulated by the guardian. The same guardian who also tried to manipulate John.

@Gothams_Kitchen Cause Guy Gardner is still a good guy. He's brash and arrogant but he isn't stupid. At that time, Superman was potentially a threat to his sector so he was willing to fight. John in that scene is not a threat and Guy doesn't know about Noah.

Guy wasn't scared you dumb fuck

[Random Person @Proxiie_]

@mukualt remember? "Throw it away. Can't hold onto it forever, 'cause it's fucking exhausting."

Throughout the show we see John loves his family but he was holding on to the anger and wasn't ready to forgive his family. He doesn't hate his mom, in that scene he lets it go and forgives.

[Random Person @Proxiie_]

@mukualt I have a genuine question. Did you miss the whole theme of forgiveness and second chances in the show or are you just engagement baiting?

[Random Person @Proxiie_]

@UncannyKam you can look at this a few ways:

Despite all that happened, Guy still respects John. He did give John the suit and the ring too when he didn't have to.

or

At the time, Superman was possibly a threat to the world. John here is not. Guy is brash and arrogant but not stupid.

@Bullhoggaming @evilive1381 It’s not convenient you dumb fuck it’s a manhunter. The guardians made them they will know how to drain the ring as quickly as possible. It’s a thing that needs to be charged every 24 hours so it’s not like something you charge once and it holds for weeks

It’s not convenient
