Saw a debate in the comments of a post about if remixes are necessary for the scene. I think they 100% are. Bootlegs, edits, remixes are so engrained in the culture. So many artists careers have taken off just from a single remix. Look at alesso or illenium. It also opens the eyes of kids who are just getting into the scene about songs or artists they haven’t learned about yet.
