I am a Muslim woman and I proudly serve in the Georgia State Senate. I am outraged that my own colleague would make this disgusting Islamophobic video. When I confronted Dolezol on the Senate floor, he had nothing to say and looked away.

.@DolezalForGA is a coward. If this your political strategy to win a primary it reeks of desperation.

Muslim Americans are not outsiders. We are Georgians. We are doctors, teachers, small business owners, veterans, parents, and public servants including in this legislature.

When elected officials spread conspiracy theories about Muslims, they don’t just embarrass our state they put real people at risk.

Georgia deserves leaders who focus on solving real problems not politicians who try to score points by scapegoating their neighbors because of their faith.
