@MaskedRiderHero and as for the process, i recommend doing some blocking instead of lining it right away. put down some basic color shapes, and slowly carve from there. once you get something promising, you then line on top of it and tweak it from there

@MaskedRiderHero i design helmets with the mindset of it being "alive" rather than just a helmet for a human, if that makes sense? like i'm designing some sort of lifeform separate from the human user

@torisuna_sky thank ya! bit of an impromptu feature there. originally the gimmick was to have it extend in that classic body horror fashion with rider gimmicks, but while i was drawing it i had the sudden inspiration to put her normal leg in. pretty proud of how that turned out!
