भाजपा की फंडिंग और पीएम केयर्स (PM CARES) के ऑडिट पर CJP प्रवक्ता सौरभ दास ने सरकार की परेशानी बढ़ा दी, अब युवा पीढ़ी पीएम केयर फंड का हिसाब मांग रही है।

फंडिंग के मुख्य स्रोतः भाजपा को सबसे ज्यादा चंदा कॉर्पोरेट घरानों, व्यक्तिगत दानदाताओं और 'प्रूडेंट इलेक्टोरल ट्रस्ट' से मिलता है। (सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा 2024 में इलेक्टोरल बॉन्ड बैन होने के बाद अब सीधे और ट्रस्ट के जरिए चंदा लिया जा रहा है)।

विपक्ष और CJP का कहना है कि सरकार को 'पीएम केयर्स' और 'पीएमएनआरएफ' (PMNRF) फंड का पूरा हिसाब और संबंधित दस्तावेज देश के सामने रखने चाहिए।

पीएम केयर्स और पीएमएन���रएफ दोनों फंड में कोई सरकारी पैसा नहीं होता; इनमें केवल स्वैच्छिक दान आता है। इनका ऑडिट सरकारी संस्था कैग (CAG) नहीं, बल्कि स्वतंत्र चार्टर्ड अकाउंटेंट (CA) करते हैं।

ये दोनों फंड 'पब्लिक चैरिटेबल ट्रस्ट' होने के कारण फिलहाल सूचना के अधिकार (RTI) के दायरे से बाहर हैं, जिसे लेकर पारदर्शिता पर लगातार सवाल उठते हैं। l
