Thousands of LinkNYC kiosks across the five boroughs will display routes to the nearest cooling center, which Mamdani says shouldn't be more than a 10-minute walk.
There will also be "cool vans" stationed around the city to provide hydration and electrolytes, meals (including vegetarian, kosher and halal options), plus transport to the nearest cooling center.
