@AloroDesmo@GabrielBuule They did that because they didn't have resources to do proper diagnostics. These days they still do the same but send you for further tests to confirm what they suspect because many diseases can present the same.
That doesn't make them quacks.
@amelikasz After his date with the girl he claims to love. I think he has said some inflammatory things that icked everyone off camera.
Him being talkative isn't the problem, his problem is saying whatever he thinks and not everything comes out as light hearted.
@kunmigbenga@Gelinecare I have poultry too and pigs are cleaner than the birds . The birds poo everywhere but pigs will always poo in one place ,far from where they eat.
As soon as there food is contaminated, they stop eating.
@Aaa1475882 Because of malaria...
Many countries don't accept too because it can be deadly if people who have never had malaria before are exposed to the parasites.
@Walokoka2010@nbstv@AmbroseMuhumuz2 Hospital staffing is at 26% .patients take longer because there are few staff to attend to everyone .
Let's demand for better deployment and payments for medical interns. The inefficiency starts with the ministry when they fail to do their job and employ workers
@ubctvuganda@CHRISBARYOMUNS1 Imagine how overworked the 26% is. Meant to carry a burden that should be shared by at least 5 more people.
How can you deploy better if the workers are too few for the burden?
@AmynatAhmad@osemagnum Triamcinolone injections flatten keloid scars. Please have a consultation with a dermatologist or plastic surgeon in case they do scar revision before injections
More plastics for us to deal with. What happened to their classic packaging?. All these non biodegradable materials will end up in landfills and drainage systems .
Our recycling is also poorly developed. Let's all petition for fewer plastic.
@InnocentOkol1 @ankolegarl When will it ever occur to you people that public universities can not absorb all students who seat for UACE even if they all got 20 points. They don't have the capacity.
@VictorV57524@GovUganda@NIRA_Ug How have foreign nationals negatively impacted Ugandans and specifically your wellbeing?
Not everything is to be emulated.
@EmmaOkoreMD We have a law in my country that allows a doctor to disclose without consent form the patient. The HIV and AIDS prevention and control act.
@tiredyouth256@UG_confesses It's not about being Muslim but the complete disregard of churches for others. Some of us have 24hour duties and want to sleep. I don't want to hear all that noise. If I wanted to know what you're preaching ,I would have come to church.
@SarahfromOC@DrPlantel Do you know the average age young girls start having sex? Just because people choose to ignore teenagers having sex doesn't mean they aren't.
17-19years world wide is the average. So on top of education, preventative measures are also done for the few who will stray.
@aatuhweramelia I don't want to even talk about nurses and clinical officer salaries 🤣🤣...night duties here and there...some are stuck in clinics 24/7 for 300k..no life outside the clinic or drug shop
For years, medical interns have protested to increase their monthly allowance from 750,000 UGX. Despite the Head of State’s pledge to fulfill the increment to 2,500,000 UGX, and in the face of a skyrocketing cost of living, the government has found a brilliant solution to the high cost of living; scrapping the allowance entirely instead of raising it. Apparently, when food, rent, and medical care become too expensive, doctors are expected to live on pure patriotism.
With this new development, the crisis in our public health centers will only get more dire.
Friends, this is no longer just an interns' battle, it is a crisis that affects every single Ugandan. We must all demand a fair treatment for our frontline health workers.

@aloysiusnsubug1@HilderKoriang We already have few medical workers for the population. Will it be cheaper to import labour or you expect the few present to be overworked?
@marvin_lule68 You could see how defeated he was knowing there is nothing he can do but resuscitate and he had to work the night too because there were other patients in his care. Medical internship is real work. Not training. If he was a student ,this wouldn't be his case to handle.
@marvin_lule68 The gyn left a lady with a ruptured uterus on ward because there was no blood in mubende regional referral and he couldn't do the operation without blood. We were left with the intern on ward from around 10am to 11pm when the patient finally got money to take her to mulago.
