Nigeria’s First Lady, Mrs. Remi Tinubu, has spoken out in defense of the 10th Senate following allegations of s+xu@l h@ra+sment against Senate President Godswill Akpabio by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
Addressing journalists ahead of International Women’s Day (IWD), Mrs. Tinubu insisted that the Senate remains a “mature” institution that deserves respect. She downplayed concerns about the handling of the allegations, asserting that lawmakers were “doing what is needful.”
“I know with what is going on in the Senate, people may wonder why I’m not taking an opposing stance. But I believe the Senate is handling matters as it should. It is an esteemed and mature institution that should not be dragged into controversy,” she stated.
Reflecting on her 12-year tenure as a senator, Mrs. Tinubu encouraged Nigerian women to assert themselves in leadership. “Women must uplift themselves and ensure they are not spoken to inappropriately. You can always shut down such behavior before it even begins,” she advised.

Madam Efunroye Osuntinubu was Yorùbá aristocrat who contributed to the defense of Yorùbáland against the British and Dahomey.
When Madam Efunroye Osuntinubu was controlling power and money in West Africa, European women were not allowed to vote or participate in politics in several European Kingdoms and Empires.
Also, Madam Efunroye Osuntinubu is not a Nigerian, She was a Yorùbá woman who survived the century of blood and Iron in the 19th century in the Yorùbá country.
You guys lack discipline and native intelligence. A Yoruba nollywood actress wants to tell a Yorùbá story but non Yorubas who have never hidden their hate towards the Yoruba race wants to have an opinion???
You are Urhobo? Right? Mention 5 Women in Urhobo history that had any political or Aristocratic power in pre colonial Nigeria? I assume the answer is None!
You lack decorum! Yorùbá women were warriors and had equal power in Yorùbáland pre colonial Nigeria. Stop using the same brush to paint us.
The only thing we share is the same passport. Our history, culture, reality, agenda and civilization is different and it will never be the same.
Did Madam Tinubu sell your "tribe"?
She was the Iyalode of the Egba kingdom which later became an independent country until it was annexed into Nigeria in 1920 after the Adubi war.
We are not mates, na Nigeria bring lion and goats to the same level.

American prostitutes on X have addressed this matter themselves. They have asked people to stop using whore techniques if they don't want to be identified as whores.
