Squad fill in Marathon is absolutely horrible, the lack of gear-based matchmaking means free kits can be teamed up with kitted purples, creating in-team friction.

Possible solution: have a 30s loadout screen AFTER matchmaking, allowing teams to coordinate how to kit themselves

If you enjoyed riding around RDR2, wishing you could breed horses with deeper customization, you should give a try
Fair warning, it is heavily Early Access, but the environment, the horses and the music are all stellar and the devs seem to be quick with fixes
