Moon is now in sidereal Cancer, joining Sun, Mercury and Jupiter before tomorrow's Solar Eclipse.

Next 24–48 hours could expose where fear is driving control, where emotions are being used to gain power, and what you've been neglecting.

Watch what gets triggered. It may show you where the real problem is.

Solar Eclipse in Ashlesha nakshatra (Mercury associated), on a Wednesday (Mercury ruled), with Mercury sitting right there next to the eclipsed Sun & Moon.

Do take out some time to journal today.

Ask yourself:

Where am I holding on too tightly?

Where am I trying to influence someone instead of accepting their choice?

What am I afraid will happen if I let go?

What am I keeping alive because I'm not ready to release it?

Be honest. Ashlesha has a way of showing you where the attachment really is.

Remember: this solar eclipse energy is not about manifesting something new. It's about seeing clearly what you're still tied to.

The Ashlesha 🐍 entanglement.

Upcoming Solar Eclipse!!

When: August 12
Where: 26° Cancer
(ashlesha nakshatra)

This is the second and the last Solar Eclipse of 2026.

It won't be visible in India, so no Sutak Kaal.

There will be 4 planets in sidereal Cancer that day: Sun, Moon, Jupiter and Mercury.

Hidden family dynamics can come into the open. Conversations that have been avoided, old resentments, inherited beliefs, or unspoken expectations may finally be acknowledged.

Ashlesha Nakshatra carries the energies of the Serpent 🐍. It understands poison & amrit, attraction & attachment, psychological warfare, hidden influence.

A Solar Eclipse here can expose emotional manipulation, power games, unhealthy attachments, family conditioning, jealousy, guilt, obsession, addictions, and the quiet stories you've been telling yourself for years.

Ideal energy for breaking emotional addictions, ending manipulative dynamics, studying psychology, therapy, meditation, energy healing, detoxifying the body and mind, research, spiritual practices, and replacing fear with awareness.

Brief general insights for each sign (check both from your moon sign & rising sign):

Aries ♈ (solar eclipse in 4H):

A family secret may come out. Someone may move in or move out. Property matters, renovations, or paperwork around a home could finally move. A parent may need your attention. The way you've always seen your family may change after one conversation.

Taurus ♉ (Solar Eclipse in 3H):

Expect an important phone call, message, document, interview, or conversation. News involving a sibling or neighbour could change your plans. A short trip may become necessary. Be careful what you say. One sentence can travel much further than you intended.

Gemini ♊ (Solar Eclipse in 2H):

Money becomes the headline. A new income source may appear, an expense may force a rethink, or a family discussion around finances could surface. Watch impulsive spending. Read every financial document twice before signing anything.

Cancer ♋ (solar eclipse in 1H):

You may change your identity, appearance, priorities, or direction over the next few months. People may expect the old version of you while you've already started moving on. Don't feel guilty for outgrowing old roles.

Leo ♌ (solar eclipse in 12H):
Something you've kept buried may return through dreams, memories, or a chance meeting. Sleep may feel lighter than usual. Old emotions can surface without warning. Make space for rest. You don't have to solve everything the same day it comes up.

Virgo ♍ (solar eclipse in 11H):

A friendship may end. A new one may begin. An old friend may suddenly reach out. A long-term goal may change after learning new information. Pay attention to the people entering your life now. They'll matter more than you think.

Libra ♎ (solar eclipse in 10H):

A boss may resign. A promotion may finally come through. Office politics may become impossible to ignore. A new role, project, or career path could open unexpectedly. Don't rush to react. Watch how things unfold over the next few weeks.

Scorpio ♏ (solar eclipse in 9H):

Travel plans may change. A visa, legal matter, university application, or course could finally move. A teacher may appear at the right time. One conversation or one book may completely change the direction you're planning to take.

Sagittarius ♐ (solar eclipse in 8H):

Loans, taxes, inheritance, insurance, investments, or shared money matters may demand your attention. A hidden truth could surface inside a close relationship. Ask the uncomfortable questions now. They become much harder to ask later.

Capricorn ♑ (solar eclipse in 7H):

A relationship may finally define itself. Someone may ask for commitment. Someone else may decide to leave. An old partner may return for one last conversation. Whatever has been left unsaid won't stay that way for long.
