Honestly I am surprised that information regarding community servers, as requested as they are, is so baron. You would think they would, at least quarterly, say “hey, here is what they are working on.”

Sooo…. I typically try to be fairly optimistic when it comes to rust console edition but lack of transparency when it comes to their most requested feature (custom servers) is appalling. Not much of a even a mention of them since dev blog 12…. Yikes…

Most of the servers are online at the moment but there's still some being affected by the issues. The team is working on them and in around 2 to 3h, everything should be back to normal.

Following this post, the Christmas event will also end today after the wipe. We extended it for all of January but it's time to finish the event. :)

Monthly wipe will start today at 6PM UTC and with it we will have the release of patch 1.57. Server should be back in 30 mins after wipe, but it might take a bit longer.

Power Surge is still being tested on the PTB. Once ready we will reveal a release date for the Main branch.
