Why are we still dealing with this nonsense in 2024? It's beyond frustrating that games like Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade, Resident Evil 4 Remake Gold Edition, Alan Wake 2, Jusant, and Senua’s Saga - Hellblade 2 aren't available in physical form. Sure, FF7 Remake Intergrade and RE4 Remake Gold Edition have physical versions, but the DLCs are only vouchers for digital downloads. What gives?

Physical releases are crucial for collectors and fans who value having a tangible product. It's not just about ownership; it's about preserving the game and its content. Digital-only releases are vulnerable to being lost forever if servers go down or if digital stores decide to remove them. Plus, there's nothing like holding a game case in your hands, displaying it on your shelf, and knowing it's yours to keep.

This trend of digital-only content is a slap in the face to those of us who have supported the gaming industry for decades. We deserve the choice to buy a physical copy of our favorite games and their DLCs. Publishers, it's time to respect your audience and bring back physical releases. Let's normalize having a physical option for every game again!
