@BluesProspects1 I was very pro tank and thought the higher pick the better and still do, but with that being said I think the blues will get a great player at 11 and should help the young core in the relatively near future

@Ferrario101ESPN Yesyou can find countless examples of top 10 picks not working out or revisionist history of players that should have been drafted higher ofcourse but giving your team lottery percentage and a higher pick helps more than winning late season games being out

@Ferrario101ESPN Yes, those are great value picks. Kucherov 57th pick, Pastranak 25th overall all top players all great players that where found at later spots but doesn’t always happen as opposed to a top 10 pick which is usually a gaurentee

@NickYetAgain I’m not disagreeing with that at all im talking about draft talent. the difference between loosing one game tonight and getting the 8th overall pick and the 11th overall pick could be a vastly different player

@LFCpat511 @Ferrario101ESPN We finished strong last season and that didn’t carry over to the start of the season plus roster changes are coming that would disrupt chemistry anyways. This one game would not affect the chemistry but the 8th overall pick from a loss would help the franchise

@M_Meyer3 It seemed like we knew since late November to early December that roster changes were coming and we were missing playoffs. Not everyone agrees the late season surge was infuriating as we put ourselves out of playoffs and high draft stock
