Are those huge billboards comparing Samsung with iPhone just about selling a premium image-or are you actually willing to own up when a premium device repeatedly fails?
My Z Flip5 has now had 5 occurrences of display/protective-film related problems
@SamsungIndia I made the mistake of choosing Flip 5 over iPhone in 2023 after saving for over 1 year.
In less than 2 years, my display has failed THREE TIMES.
I’ve paid huge amounts for the SAME defect & Samsung still wants me to pay again.

@SamsungIndia@SamsungMobile So @SamsungMobile@SamsungIndia I have a simple question:
What are you actually going to do about this?
If you cannot replace this device with one that I can reasonably trust, then give me my money back.
I will take my business elsewhere and move to another brand.
@SamsungIndia@SamsungMobile I bought a premium foldable expecting a premium experience — not a recurring cycle of:
failure → service centre → repair → waiting → failure again.
I cannot keep submitting my phone every few months and pretending this is normal.
@SamsungIndia@SamsungMobile Every time I have to hand over this phone because something has failed AGAIN, I have to disrupt my life around a problem I didn't create.
At this point, this has gone beyond a device inconvenience. It has become mental harassment for me.
Hope you understand @SamsungIndia
@SamsungIndia@SamsungMobile A phone today isn't just a phone.
It's your UPI, banking, documents, OTPs, calls, WhatsApp, work, emails, cab bookings, tickets, appointments and access to your everyday life.
@SamsungIndia@SamsungMobile Post that,
Your team said it was being reviewed.
You said the “right team” would contact me.
I gave my number.
I followed up.
I emailed.
I waited.
And I'm STILL waiting.
Do you guys even realise what it means for a person to repeatedly submit their primary phone for service?
@SamsungIndia@SamsungMobile 4th — Protective film developed severe bubbles and affected the folding mechanism.
5th — The protective film has again developed a bubble line, within just ONE MONTH of being replaced.
And the most frustrating part?
I reported this latest issue on 4 June.
1st — Display failed. Replaced under warranty.
2nd — Same display issue returned within 3–4 months. I was asked to pay ₹22,500. After escalation, it was replaced, but I still had to bear part of the cost.
3rd — Display/touch failed again a few months later.

@SamsungIndia I’ve emailed, DM’d @SamsungIndia ,been told “we’ll connect” — but no one follows up. This is not wear & tear. This is a design/manufacturing defect. Customers should NOT be paying repeatedly for Samsung’s product flaws. #ManufacturingDefect
@SamsungIndia Third incident)
📍 Third Display Failure (4 months later)
• Updated to latest One UI
• Touch stopped working completely
• Service Centre again demands huge cost for display replacement.
How many times should a customer pay for the SAME part? #Samsung#DefectiveProduct
@SamsungIndia Second incident
📍 Second Display Failure (3–4 months later)
• SAME issue came back
• Service Centre: “Pay ₹22,500”
• I escalated to senior officials — no response
• Only after tweeting, service centre called & replaced display
• Yet, I still had to pay part of the cost.
