The final leg of the #PoliceUnityTour2024 that took riders from Baltimore, Maryland, to Washington, D.C., carries a powerful blend of emotions as the dedicated riders approach the National Peace Officers Memorial. The LASD Honor Guard Detail arrived in D.C. to greet the riders.
The 16th annual Imperial Valley Law Enforcement memorial honored forty-nine heroes who lost their lives in the line of duty. The memorial honored those who served in federal, state, county and city agencies.

As we begin #PoliceWeek, 26 roses are placed at the center of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial to honor the loyal K9s that we lost in 2023. We remain forever grateful for their service.
