As we are excited to head to Waco in 2026, we want to reassure our community that all contractors for CECC May Madness 2025 have been paid.
Each season, CECC employs nearly 100 contractors, many of whom are students gaining meaningful experience in broadcast, production, operations, and event management. We are proud to be entering our sixth year and grateful for everyone who contributes to creating a memorable main-stage moment for student-athletes—the highlight of the year for so many competitors across the country.
WE’RE HEADED TO WACO.
CECC May Madness 2026 is officially taking over the Waco Convention Center May 1–3, 2026 — bringing 2,000+ student-athletes, multiple titles, and the biggest collegiate esports weekend in the nation.
Kicking it all off at Baylor’s McLane Stadium with Thursday Night Lights.

@comicsexplained Why are popular characters popular? Is it the design regardless of bad writing? Do they get lucky because the writer is dope but the character is derivative? Is it a combination? Is it social timing? Give examples of each
@FLitz Nah but for real I hear you on most points. That over explaining thing I think is par for the course in anime
It is messed up that there are so many people willing to fuck up a kid. Hisoka was def not well intentioned
I liked how it showed the growth of the main characters
This weekend we hosted #CECCTexas2025 alongside @EsportsUgaming setting up PCs for 600+ players, organizing tournaments, creating content, and overseeing operations. We are proud to support collegiate esports at this level and hope you had a great time! 🤠
