@Headteacherchat Let’s all be honest though, references mean nothing. You can’t write honestly on them if the person was rubbish… perhaps you’re desperate to get to get rid of them so you embellish their reference…. Or you just write the dates they works for you. All utterly pointless
I want to walk you through why it’s nearly certain Trump’s Iran War is going to be a massive, deadly, trillion dollar failure. And why you should be furious he’s set us on this path.
@Headteacherchat Round table, traitors style. Seriously though, I’d get them all in and have it out in person and then as the head, make it very clear that their behaviour is impacting their children and to stop it.
@JamesMelville I’ve been shouting about this for years! I’m 46 and have been paying my student loan off since 2022 when I graduated. I owe more now than I did 5 years ago and will never pay it off. I consider it an education tax rather than a loan now.
@GinnyA24601 I left 24 years ago with a debt of £36k (£9k a year, max loan, no grant). Last year I’ve got it down to around 21k and now it’s 23k. I don’t see it as a loan. It’s an education tax. I’ll never pay it off. Nobody benefits from that really.
