Swedish defense manufacturer Saab has introduced the Sea Giraffe Agile Multi Beam D (AMB D), a new-generation three-dimensional (3D) naval surveillance radar designed to enhance the detection, tracking, and classification of airborne and surface threats in complex maritime environments.

The radar provides an air target detection range of up to 250 km and a surface target detection range of up to 50 km, supporting the surveillance of fixed-wing aircraft, UAVs, missiles, and crewed or uncrewed surface vessels.

Developed as the latest evolution of Saab's Giraffe AMB radar family, the Sea Giraffe AMB D is designed to deliver early warning and accurate target information for naval situational awareness, threat assessment, and operational decision-making in distributed, multi-domain maritime operations.
