Failed generations are just retakes.

Take 1. Take 2. Take 3. That’s how real sets work and AI filmmaking is no different.

I generated over 5 minutes of footage for a 30 second ad. I picked the best. I cut it down. That’s the director’s job.

Don’t generate once and hope. Run multiple takes. Your 4th generation might be your best one.

Take your time. The money is there. This ad proved it.

The US government just told Anthropic to cut off ALL foreign nationals from Fable 5 and Mythos 5.

Even Anthropic’s own foreign national employees.

Let that sink in.

This isn’t Anthropic being careless. This is the government saying this thing is too powerful to be careless with.

Remember: the US government has been using the REAL Mythos. Not Fable 5. Mythos 5. And if they know what that model is truly capable of they know something you don’t.

Before you scream. Before you complain. Ask yourself what do they know that we don’t?

Now does this stop your AI journey? Absolutely not.

Sonnet 4.6. Opus 4.7. Opus 4.8. Open source models. There is so much intelligence available right now free and paid.

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.

“AI has no soul. The actors aren’t real.”

Okay. But let me ask you something.

How many of the 8 billion people on this planet have actually met Tom Cruise?

They’ve never touched him. Never smelled him. Never took a picture with him. Some of his biggest fans in China or even in the US will never be in the same room as him.

But they still love him. They still buy tickets. They still feel something when they watch him on screen.

So what exactly is the difference?

Great storytelling creates connection. Real or synthetic if the art hits, people feel it.

AI Influencers already have 100K+ followers on Instagram. People KNOW they’re AI. They follow anyway.

Give it time. Synthetic actors are going to become superstars. Studios will be fighting over collaborations with AI characters the same way they fight over A-list talent today.

The soul was never in the actor. It was always in the story.

Is it just me or has Claude Sonnet 4.6 been nerfed?

I’ve been using it for AI filmmaking with Seedance and the results have been sliding. Not terrible but nowhere near what it used to deliver.

My theory? With Opus 4.8 out now, they may be quietly squeezing Sonnet to push you toward the premium model.

So I ran a test on a client project today.

Sonnet 4.6 mediocre prompts. Noticeably weaker than before.

Opus 4.8 outstanding results. Night and day.

The catch? Opus 4.8 is more expensive.

If you’re doing AI filmmaking, running AI ads, or working with Seedance test this yourself before your next project.

Is this Seedance 2.1? 2.3? 2.5? A whole new AI video generator? I genuinely don’t know.
