Elle Skum (26 May 1827 – 10 February 1895) was a Sami's reindeer herder who took part in the 1852 Kautokeino uprising. Many of her co-rioters were decapitated by the Norwegian state. Their Skeletons were sold as race biological trophies on the international market. #sami #lapland
