Montecristo Petit Edmundo from a box I got a week ago. It was only boxed January of this year so I plan on letting these cigars spend a bit more time in my humidor but couldn’t help myself to a little taste, it performed surprisingly well for such a young Cuban.

@otherside_X42 Why do you keep comparing a rocket that will not exist for years to outdated starships? Starship V4 is basically gaurenteed to debut before this rocket does, it’s not competing with the volume of v3, it’s competing with v4, so why do you refuse to give a good faith comparison?

@Annnomoyous @joshprowse @Duderichy These companies are pretty much known for doing things that “take years to figure out” in a fraction of that time. Kind of why they have so much tech no one else does. Things only take years to figure out if you convince yourself that’s how long it will take.

Despite the dark appearance of the Ecuadorean Sumatra wrapper, it is a pleasant, medium bodied cigar. It has been in my humidor for 2 months, it is very well constructed with a perfect draw and even burn throughout. Opens with notes of wood and almond with a nice peppery finish.

Draw was definitely on the firmer side but that’s partially on me for only giving it a week, the burn was even and rarely needed to be touched up. It had light woody notes and the classic Montecristo chocolate-like flavor, and didn’t really take a nosedive near the end despite being so young. a nice 45 minute cigar. I definitely look forward to having more.

H. upmann half corona. A great quick little caramel and cocoa cigar with a peppery finish. It has a nice burn and I’ve had surprisingly consistent draws with this box. Pairs well with a nice aged rum.

A great entry point into cigars or if you just want something quick and pleasant.

Thanks to their small size, they also seem to be just fine at only a year old.

Unlike many other Cubans these days, this one can actually still be considered affordable, too.
