@itsjwills People have to stop treating Kalshi like it’s a real sports book. There is no one setting odds based on legit info. It’s just randoms throwing money at stuff.
@CamilleMonae Isn’t it more likely that they are just keeping both teams on the hook as long as possible by making both teams feel pressure to give their best offer? Why would anyone admit this to the media unless it’s to benefit them?
@MaxsAllStars They don’t own their own picks. New rules make tanking stupid. Even if you own your own picks, being a bottom 3 team is not ideal anymore. There is no difference between having the 15th worst record or the 4th. Stop talking about this like it’s 15 years ago.
@itsjwills Or it means they are leaking this because they know they have both teams on the hook and want both teams feeling pressure to give everything the Bucks want.
@flasportsbuzz@Clarkclark36852 Think Shams was trying to be careful with his words. His point was it would be a 2 team trade. He smirked when Windhorst said the Bucks could then look at adding more teams during the offseason and used the KD trade as an example.
@nic_rohloff Acting like Miami would have a choice lol. If this goes beyond the draft, it’s because the Bucks decided they aren’t going to take Miami’s offer.
@DanRShafer It isn’t difficult. If he doesn’t commit 100% to resigning long term, they absolutely have to trade him. No “if they do this” or “as long as this.” Anything other than 100% commitment is not enough. Can’t risk losing him for nothing. That is worst case scenario over trading him.
@BucksLead Why are we all pretending like the Bucks are running Giannis out of town against his will? He’s had 1 foot out the door since Dame got hurt, and it’s just naive or willful ignorance to think otherwise. The Dame stretch and Turner signing was a GIANT risk and he still wants out
@BucksLead Yes, and all that could happen with Giannis as well. Signing an extension means nothing in today’s NBA. A small market’s best chance is to hit big on a draft pick. If I thought they were 1 player away from legit contention, I’d be all in. I just don’t think they are.
@BucksLead It’s perfectly fine to love Giannis, fully understand and appreciate everything he means to the city and organization while also believing it might be best to move on.
@BucksLead Fans who want the team to continue digging their hole deeper and deeper by making more terrible desperation moves to try and prove something to Giannis aren’t really Bucks fans. They are Giannis fans. Some of us have been here long before Giannis, and we’ll be here long after.
@MKEBucksCat Agree. If I honestly thought there was a way to legit contention by keeping him, I’d be all in. I just don’t see it. They are more than 1 more star away, and I just can’t get behind another desperation trade that guts every asset we have for the next decade to fight for a play in
@BucksBallKnower If there is anything Giannis has shown his entire career, it’s that he DOES NOT have any desire to leave money on the table. He’s signing that extension wherever he gets traded.
@SleeperBucksNBA The truth is, the Bucks don’t NEED to bring back anyone from last year’s team. There are a couple players they SHOULD bring back, and there are players they should definitely NOT. Then there are a few just kind of whatever.
