Michigan State baseball's 2025 home opener started with a bang, as the Spartans took an early 3-0 lead in the second inning, only to be overtaken in the middle frames by Michigan, and MSU's late rally wasn't enough in an 11-7 final score on Wednesday afternoon.
No. 7 Michigan State gymnastics earned a 197.475-196.275 win over Rutgers in the Spartans' final Big Ten dual meet of the season Saturday afternoon inside Jenison Field House. MSU wraps up Big Ten regular season action at the Big Four Meet against Iowa, Penn State and Washington on March 2.

The No. 5 MSU gymnastics team was back in Jenison Fieldhouse last night, hosting No. 16 Minnesota. The Spartans dominated on every event, defeating the Golden Gophers 197.475 - 196.800. Junior Nikki Smith won the all-around title with a season high score of 39.575. The Spartans are now 6-2 on the season and will face Nebraska on the road on Saturday, Feb. 15.

After two big wins last weekend, the MSU women’s tennis team was looking to continue their win streak as they took on Western Michigan. After falling to the Broncos in the doubles matches, the Spartans had a big comeback, winning 4 straight singles matches to take the 4-1 victory.
