I hate allowing old teams to relocate esp in SMJHL where GM turnover is so high with no guarantee the next GM will keep the brand. It can cause stuff like PGF>REG>PGF>ANC to happen and a cycle where history is ignored in favor of a quick and exciting fix.

A good way to make IIHF more valued by everyone is to have the HOF committee consider medals/IIHF stats/awards when voting (same with play-offs stats). Just because it wasn't kept track of for previous classes doesn't mean it can't be for the future.
