All children have a right to early diagnostic testing and literacy/math intervention. In Saskatchewan, the chronic underfunding of public education has resulted in the gutting of diagnostic testing. You wouldn’t accept this in healthcare. Don’t accept it in education. #skpoli
OMG try to read this without crying.
This is the Saskatchewan we love.
These are the stories - the actions of others - that really matter in our province.
This is also where I give CBC huge kudos for focusing on Indigenous lives in Canada.

Yes, the teachers are voting again. Yes, this time is to renew our sanctions mandate. Yes, our current mandate only covers this year. Yes, we do care about our students. Yes, we are united. So….yes. @SaskTeachersFed#WeAreSTF
Toonies for Tuition - Did you know that many families in Canada need to pay tuition to attend their local Catholic school?
Toonies for Tuition, the official campaign for the CCSTA Endowment Fund, is asking for your help in fundrai https://t.co/doPhPzqbkl
School divisions are now starting to sound the alarm.
At best, the recent “increases” will be status quo. Worse, it will be cuts.
The government is intentionally obfuscating the numbers. They are much worse than they seem.

From @STFPresident address at #stfcouncil
The needs of students don’t come & go in election cycles.
We need courage to advocate for public education system.
We will fight!
Day two of @SaskTeachersFed Annual Meeting of Council began with @JaimieSW speaking on behalf of @SaskSchoolBoard. Very unhappy group of teachers listening to the lip service. Actions mean more than words! Don’t tell us you are committed while knifing us in the back. #stfcouncil
@CathliaWard I am an STF teacher and I am confident that the president, executive, and senior STF leadership are representing my views, listening to teachers, and are standing up for public education. This is a flimsy attempt to create an appearance of division in a unified membership.
Thanks, @trudykeil! We did some marking, too.
If you’ve helped send nearly 400,000 emails (and counting) to government through Tell Them Tuesday, you may have received this new form letter response from @jeremycockrill.
We’re going to need a new red pen.
Government's story: We have the highest per capita education spending in Canada
Reality: This is misleading—not everyone in Sk is a student! In per-student funding, we're second-last (and soon-to-be last).
If @jeremycockrill is going to use numbers, he should use them correctly
