#This was “white male privilege” in Australia in 1914.

*1,200 former pupils from this elite Australian school went to war.
Over *220 never came home.

#They didn’t sacrifice their future so you could apologise for what they gave you.

#At Melbourne Grammar, one of Australia's most prestigious schools, *1,353 former pupils went to war.
More than *200 never came home. *1 in 7.

#They were white, educated and supposedly “privileged,” but none of it protected them at Gallipoli, Fromelles, Pozières or Passchendaele.
#At Fromelles alone, Australia suffered *5,533 casualties in less than 24 hours.

#It was an entire Australian generation.
From a population of only *4.9 million, *416,809 men enlisted. #More than *60,000 died and over *155,000 were wounded. #Nearly *2 in *3 Australians who embarked never returned home.

#Their deaths did not end on the battlefield.
Across Australia, thousands of women were left widowed and children grew up without their fathers.

#This was the “privilege” inherited by those who survived.

A century later, too much of the *modern Left reduces men like these to three words:

#White.
#Male.
#Privileged.
Men who supposedly inherited everything, built nothing and left only guilt behind.

#These men weren’t privileged. Many were victims of wars they didn’t choose, living lives most Australians today would struggle to endure.

#And still, they picked themselves back up.
They returned home, raised families through the Depression, rebuilt their communities and handed you a country better than the one they inherited. You flourish today because of their sacrifice. Owe them gratitude, not guilt.

The Left is rewriting Australian history as though ordinary white Australians lived in privilege while everyone else paid the price. The reality is that generations endured poverty, died in wars and built the country we inherited.
