@TomFornelli@Cover3Podcast What are some of your favorite(or worse) butterfly effects in CFP? For me, it’s if a 2015 Bret Bielema lead Arkansas team doesn’t convert a 4th&25 in OT to later beat a Hugh Freeze lead Ole Miss, Alabama doesn’t make the SEC title game or playoffs to eventually win it all.
@PEARatings@EllisAndrew_ Unless he’s the designated starter for tomorrow, no. Someone has to be left to be there should it happen, just not sure who that is.
@PEARatings Oh man I forgot it was that much. I remember wondering if their pitching could hold up and a resounding “no” was answered in less than an hour…
@dannykanell You clearly didn’t remember the rules against that 2018 Bama team. When winning wasn’t an option, you just needed to cover the spread. I was at the Arkansas game and a gritty Chad Morris lead team came back late to cover that 35 point spread. The crowd went nuts.
@MCCCANM You could also take the runway down to Visual only without PAPIs, repaint the threshold more displaced but that would also require adding in pavement runway lighting for night time operations or else it’s only down to VRF daytime which again takes it back to the construction time
@MCCCANM Any manipulation to the glide slope or moving any precision approach equipment(FAA maintained) would require flight tests along with the time to move them(most FAA duct banks are all concrete encased) plus time to perform sequence of construction around the airfield.
@TomFornelli As an Arkansan/Arkansas Alum with friends/family ties to Oklahoma, Shreveport and Ole Miss, @BunkiePerkins checks a ton of boxes for me. The SEC gained not only Oklahoma, but @Eddie_Rado His weather updates are Pulitzer and he deserves a Nobel Piece Prize for #HornsUpForPeace
