#LATEST: Iraq’s Ministry of Finance has referred the draft 2027 federal budget to the Ministerial Council for the Economy after completing its preparation, affirming that it has fulfilled its commitments by finalizing the budget bill within the specified timeframe.

“The budget bill takes into account the priorities of the government program, global economic and financial variables, spending priorities, and the needs of important segments of society within the limits of available financial resources, with a focus on boosting non-oil revenues and solidifying financial discipline.” the statement reads.
