@ewarren More lies. The highest income people pay the highest rates due to our 'progressive system' that penalizes success. Instead of trying to figure out how to steal more, how about reallocating something like unnecessary foreign aid into the Soc. Sec. trust fund?
@BernieSanders That is a lie. The only people who wouldn't be able to vote because of the Save Act are illegal aliens. If you want to claim that it is 'too hard' to prove citizenship, then fix that concern with something like requiring the IRS to provide a voting voucher to tax payers.
@DevinOlsenn That would be fine if we had control over the speed and didn't need to keep tapping the accelerator to keep it at 60 on a 2 lane 55 mph road...
@mariashriver@amyklobuchar Typical socialist stuff - we 'could' do this or that if we only had this money that Trump spent or that we take from someone wealthy. How about 'if we got the federal budget under control'? Or 'if we eliminated waste and fraud?' Btw - that 300B wasn't even true.
@elonmusk@t_blom I mostly intervene for speed issues. Too fast or too slow, and cases where the car doesn't know the correct speed limit. Just yesterday, it turned from a 40 mph road onto a 55 mph road and thought that the limit was still 40...
@SenWarren If you confiscate (steal) the stake that Elon has in his companies, you 'could' pay for some nice-sounding thing that never would actually happen. You are already responsible for a debt level that is 40 times Elon's theoretical wealth. Fix that before demanding yet more!
@SenWarren The two things are unrelated. Also Elon has earned every penny through making electric cars mainstream, making rockets reusable, creating thousands of jobs, etc. The best you can do is propose stealing someone's money instead of balancing the federal budget!
@farzyness Lol. Ask yourself why anyone would want to drive one of these, compared to a Model 3 that is more comfortable, handles better, and is much quicker. It would have to be truly inexpensive (sub 20K?) to be compelling and as a 2-seater it would only fit in a niche market.
No, the two things are unrelated. I know how Elon earned this money and he didn't take it away from anyone (despite what some Socialist politicians are using as a talking point...). Furthermore, he is only a trillionaire on paper as anyone with a financial education would know.
Actually, I AM outraged, but it is at this type of left-wing propaganda and distortion of the truth.
@Kekius_Maximus First, it would have to be actual spendable money, which so many idiots don't seem to have a clue about. But assuming it was, I would ask Elon to help me spend it for the good of humanity since he is doing such a good job with a non-spendable Trillion.
@RealKhaylee Every actual owner will say 'buy one', including me. Test drive both a 3 and a Y and pick the one that you enjoy driving the most. The premium features are worthwhile, as is 'new' if you can afford it. And FSD isn't perfect yet, but it is great and will only get better.
@EdMarkey You are an example of why we need term limits. You play to the emotions of the financially ignorant just to advance your socialist agenda, which is reprehensible, instead of doing something constructive like balancing the budget or elminating waste and fraud.
@thejefflutz That is why I don't respond to her or Bernie any more even though I strongly disagree with them and am actually offended by manipulative language.
@SenSanders You know very well that he doesn't actually have a trillion dollars. It is just another socialist talking point. What you really should do is reduce federal spending on things like foreign aid and illegal aliens and use that to fund Social Security.
@SenWarren Elon does amazing things to make life better for millions of people. All you do is overspend our tax money and try to take away other peoples wealth. Why don't you crusade about something worthwhile for a change, like a balanced budget and cutting government waste?
