Hello Twitter! #myfirstTweet

[Pat Sturgeon @psturgeon2]

Breaking down numbers to subtract mentally! #hardatwork @AHSD25Patton

[Pat Sturgeon @psturgeon2]

Just snoozed my first tab with @TabSnooze https://t.co/YUqmZflz9S

[Pat Sturgeon @psturgeon2]

Looking forward to tomorrow. #d25breaksout

A5: Perhaps someone could show me how to use the fake ticket makers or video makers. #d25breaksout

[Pat Sturgeon @psturgeon2]

A5: I would like to actually see and try some of the puzzles that others have made. I will bring a hard copy of mine. #d25breaksout

[Pat Sturgeon @psturgeon2]

@missmiller4 I tried the generator, but thought it too easy to read, so I used photos from the internet to add a little challenge for the high schoolers.

[Pat Sturgeon @psturgeon2]

@missmiller4 That is a great idea when devices are available. This game is to be used at band camp. They probably will have phones, but no computers.

[Pat Sturgeon @psturgeon2]

I use a rebus puzzle that tells the students to request use of the black light flashlight. It was fun finding pictures to use. #d25breaksout

[Pat Sturgeon @psturgeon2]

@mapplebaum3 This seems to have red herring numbers, I like it.

[Pat Sturgeon @psturgeon2]

https://t.co/xyMDZl8wYW Is simple to use, but I retyped it adding spaces between words for beginners.#d25breaksout

[Pat Sturgeon @psturgeon2]

A3: I also used a site that translated a puzzle into Braille -- flat dots. I could not find a Braille writing machine to use #d25breaksout

[Pat Sturgeon @psturgeon2]

A3: I used highlighted words in two puzzles, then changed one to using Morse Code. I used a site that translated it for me #d25breaksout

[Pat Sturgeon @psturgeon2]

A2: After game is solved, the teams will discuss the reflection questions. This is really the value of my game. #d25breaksout

[Pat Sturgeon @psturgeon2]

I suppose it is like a Thanksgiving meal -- hours of work for a short eating time, but rewarding #d25breaksout

[Pat Sturgeon @psturgeon2]

@mapplebaum3 I see an opportunity for a district sharing site.

[Pat Sturgeon @psturgeon2]

A1: My game was redesigned to require more teamwork. It would now not be possible for one person to solve in 45 min. #d25breaksout

[Pat Sturgeon @psturgeon2]

TIME! I spent hours planning, designing, and making the puzzles. Fun, but I wonder if practical for teachers. #d25breaksout
