@jason_howerton@MarkHalperin So the only two options are to hope you marry your high school sweetheart, or be a godless failure who f*cks everything that moves? There has to be a middle ground!
@MetsLoyalist@TalkinBaseball_@MartyCaswell What everyone is saying here - whether they realize it or not - is that the problem isn’t analytics, its the way organizations are using it to make decisions. The analytics are just a way of showing us what’s going on in the game…period.
@coreymaxwell13@NFLFrascella Chiefs fan here, and I don’t disagree with Johnson ahead of Reid. One of his worst seasons and his arrow is pointing down. Johnson & McDonald have proven it — coordinator success, past teams’ decline after they left, and early head coaching results. Real deal.
@SherrysDrunk Not just Super Bowls - Elite 8’s and Final 4’s, events like Lucas Oil Stadium hosting the US Olympic Swimming Trials, major concerts, and corporate and wedding events all year round. The financials make sense - and they didn’t at the old stadium.
@PeteThamel@espn@MartySmithESPN Blaming Kiffin makes no sense here. What’s he supposed to do? Stay at Ole Miss thru the season and miss every major opportunity, or leave early and bail on the players and school he’s been committed to for 5 years? This mess is on the NCAA, not him. Change the portal timing asap!
@GrandpaJarhead@TheAthletic@NFLonFOX Stop the play where you guys break the rules…over and over and over again. What other situation on the field is that not a ridiculous statement. “Shut up about them having 14 players on the field and just stop them”. Sounds stupid doesn’t it? Yep.
It's fascinating that this logic - we shouldn't pass a law banning something because bad guys don't obey the law - is *only* made for guns. If you said we shouldn't ban selling meth because meth dealers won't follow the law, everyone would understand that argument is psychotic.
