Three of our college's alumni were recognized for their professional achievements and for being outstanding role models for students in the Eberly College of Science.
As a child, Colin Howe always loved the ocean and felt at home by the water. 🌊
It was his upbringing and desire to protect marine ecosystems that led him to pursue marine science. Currently, Howe is working on his doctoral degree at Penn State.
Uhl devoted his life to the healthy relationships of all living beings and influenced thousands of Penn State students to create a more just and verdant world, which is why “The Penn’s Woods Project” is dedicated to him.
Penn State Sustainability honored Chris Uhl, late ecologist and Penn State professor, with a guidebook to support faculty in implementing sustainability into their curricula.
