Here's an hour of mostly 90's/00's party bangers recorded in room 3 at One More Time - The Final Mandela Hall @ShineBelfast Belfast - Enjoy! See you next week for @CHSqBelfast with @sashaofficial @DJJohnDigweed@nicfanciulli https://t.co/E6KHfJlMYU
On the warm up for @Carl_Cox the same weekend @LFC play their second successive @ChampionsLeague final = potentially massive weekend ahead. Still a few last minute tickets up for grabs.
@Rubberbandits In light of @MotleyCrue#TheDirt out on Netflix, ask him for some Nikki Sixx stories, iirc Stu was press officer for the label at the peak of their madness
@holmesprice@posthuman@djmonitor Played a few festivals where I’ve submitted playlist data and in some cases made 5x my dj fee on royalty income (they were big festivals) so it’s definitely worth it.
@holmesprice Really don’t think this would work as it’s effectively a double tax, as this is what venues and festivals are already billed for by the collection societies. Fixing the current solution would be far less complex, especially given all the smoke & mirrors around agents and fees
@posthuman@holmesprice Various companies competing to be the major player in the space, Rekordbox is another one that has all the playlist data, but there’s still a long way to go yet before all the legalities around data ownership and who can use it get ironed out
@posthuman@holmesprice But it’s a highly complex area connecting all the PRO’s on the same page, will take time but @PRSforMusic are making strides in this space
