Attended @pfurs last night. Great concert except for Richard Butler doing the “Heil hitler” arm salute & holding it for a good 20 secs, then doing it a second briefer time later.I was completely shocked, disturbed, & sickened. When is that EVER ok? Never, that’s when. Never.
@andrealala89 This is so true & it was incredibly liberating when I realized it. Will anyone die if my article revisions are late or I don’t get my slides as polished as I’d like? NOPE. The stakes are high only if you buy into the idea that your work defines your worth.
