@tylermilliken_@ChrisCotillo It’s hard to say he’s the leader of the team when he’s statistically one of the worst players in all of baseball. People are talking like he’s LeBron James…
@EricCrossMLB They have better 1-5, we have better depth. Neither of those teams has Early, Tolle, Sandoval, Crawford, Harrison ready to step in at a moment’s notice
@tylermilliken_@Ken_Rosenthal Their "emergence as legitimate suitors" is just a reference to the same unsourced buzz from insiders over the past few days. Neither Arizona nor Toronto makes any sense for Bregman. We're all just parroting Boras' talking points that were leaked to the media.
@redsoxpayroll The window truly opens in 2028. Anthony, Crochet, Rafaela, Abreu/Duran, Narvaez, Early, Tolle, Mayer, Campbell, Bello - all under contract. Yoshida and Story gone, big money freed up.
@matthewcrory Seems like we're seeing a very unusual player who waits a long time to make swing decisions, leading to an absurdly good chase % but also a poor ability to drive the ball with authority...
@redsoxstats It looks like there's a (weak) negative correlation there - aka, on average, harder swings lead to less contact. Logical fix would be to swing a tiny bit less hard to actually square some balls up
@xwbaseball@DocWyrick17 What's the rationale for Mayer at 40? Much lower than other lists, and he just crushed spring training, so I would think his stock could only be rising
@redsoxstats His swing is the sweetest of the big 3. Maybe the least violent so with lower bat speed, but it just feels you'd never want to go down and in on him...
@MarcRyanOnAir You shared that it was "down to" the Tigers or Cubs. You didn't say that they were currently the leading contenders. You said it was down to those two.
I’m hearing there are many long lines to vote across Pennsylvania on college campuses because of record youth voter turnout.
PENNSYLVANIA STUDENTS: IF YOU ARE IN LINE TO VOTE STAY IN LINE TO VOTE YOU CANNOT BE TURNED AWAY SO LONG AS YOU ARE IN LINE.
