everything is bad in this series but, this shit here is so real.
the way "idols" are used, exploited, their mental health isn't treated properly and when they have no use for business, get easily replaced leaving them alone to face their pain and demons.

REVIEW: 'Born Pink' Blackpink World Tour in Manila/Bulacan
Let me start off by saying - Blackpink did not disappoint and showed why they are the biggest KPop girl group in this generation.
The Philippine Arena was packed with Filo Blinks upto the rafters. Compared to previous PH Arena concerts I've attended (Katy Perry, U2, Seventeen and Harry Styles), this is by far the foreign act that almost - almost filled the 55,000-capacity venue. Some sections on the side were blocked off because it has an obstructed view so fans won't be able to enjoy if it was made available.
Fans trooped the arena as early as 10am hoping to get in line early (esp those attending the VIP Soundcheck), get a good parking spot and avoid the traffic and long queue.
The show started at 7:15 PM and lasted for two hours. The show was done by 9:15 PM.
I cannot find the words to describe how overwhelming the presence of Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa on stage when they opened the show with 'How You Like That?'.
Fans were singing, chanting and hammering their lightsticks along with every song.
I'm not sure if this is just me but here are my observations.
JISOO AND JENNIE - I felt like Jisoo and Jennie were slowly warming up at the beginning. Probably they were just focused on singing and performing. But during their solo performances, you can feel that they are already engaging, smiling and playing along with the fans. I like how Jisoo was close to no-make-up make up and still looks so pretty. Jennie was in tip-top shape and the cameramen were getting those money shots!
ROSÉ - Rosé, on the other hand, didn't shy a bit in showing off her vocal chops! She was belting, she was giving it all. I almost melted down when I heard her sing 'ON THE GROUND' live. It was just beautiful.
LISA - Lisa, Lisa, Lisa. From the get go, she was on it and in it. She was playing with the camera, she was engaging with fans - waving hi's and hello's, playing rock paper scissors, she was giving out finger hearts - her energy was high, her make-up, her hair, her outfits - she was truly top tier last night.
Here's the setlist from last night at the Philippine Arena 3.25.2023

It was also noteworthy that the girls acknowledged the huge crowd last night. Rosé even said that she had goosebumps seeing the crowd. The last time they were here was 2019 and they didnt expect their fanbase to grow this big. Rosé also said that the PH show was the loudest crowd they've heard. She even played with the fans asking everyone to be silent, then make some loud cheers alternately.
All in all, it was a really good concert experience. People knew the songs, people were dancing to it. And one thing that probably tamed the Filo-blinks' hearts and if my hearing skills heard it right - Rosé said that this PH visit will not be their last.
