The Court ruled that the prosecution βfailed to prove her guilt beyond reasonable doubt.β
Last 2018, the Sandiganbayan 5th Division found her guilty in 7 counts of graft for using her Cabinet position to maintain Swiss bank accounts during the Marcos regime. | via @AllisonCoABSCBN
The thing is, you cannot standardize professional fees as cases are case to case basis. It depends on the expertise and the difficulty of the medical case.
Hindi talaga doctors ang kalaban nyo dito mga mamser.
Hmm, a lot of folks (even some MDs) are missing the point here. And this is me speaking from a family of doctors and healthcare practitionersβIβm a board passer myself.
Yung professional fees natin dito, sobrang disproportionate talaga, and itβs an unfortunate combination of salary issues, broken healthcare laws, lack of government support for practitioners, and HMO-related concerns.
Not every doctor charges the same, given their years of practice, specialization, and expertise. Pero dapat aminin din natin na merong mga doctor na hindi ka man lang nahahawakan pero ang professional fee eh sobrang mahal na. Iβve experienced the same thing many times with several specialists over the years.
And honestly, if the system werenβt this broken, professional fees could have been more standardized and regulated, while ensuring that the quality of care remains consistent regardless of where a patient seeks treatment or which facility they go to. Doctors can still be appropriately compensated for their expertise without making access to quality healthcare so dependent on the facility or the patientβs ability to pay.
Imagine paying 180K per sem, spending sleepless nights, sacrificing your own health to be a doctor only para questionin bakit ka kailangang bayaran ng PF.
ANO KA, GOLD?
@_rainbowfighter Ano pa tawag sa tulad mong makitid na pangunawang tangina ka?
PERFORMATIVE BITCH WHO CALLS ON FOR CHANGE JUST TO LOOK GOOD IN SOCIAL MEDIA.
Di kami kaaway mo dito. But if you insist na ganyanin kami, I hope doctors would think twice in handling you and your familyβs case.
@_rainbowfighter KESA NAMAN SA GAGONG TULAD MO. Ang performative mo, for good governance pero di mo gets na pare-pareho tayong biktima ng sistema dito. Punyeta ka, dami mong satsat!
@_rainbowfighter@kingcarlos_ii Ayun. Andun na sagot mo. Doctors are not to blame but the system thatβs supposed to pay the doctors and shoulder your costs. But you wonβt see that. Tagal mo nang may beef saming doctors ha, last year ka pa.
@_rainbowfighter Simple lang. Donβt go to a private doctor. Go to a public hospital.
It took the doctor years to perfect the technique and know-how sa management ng nanay mo. They sacrificed sleepless nights and missing out in life tapos babaratin mo lang?
Get a grip.
