@martynbolt @KirkleesCouncil @CycleKirklees @activetraveleng We’ve questioned this at a WYCA level and it has been all but officially admitted that KC are nowhere near Level 3, but the flip side is that if KC was judged to be at a lower level it could mean a lower level of funding which is something that we don’t want.

One of the most important things I learnt from ⁦⁦@Chris_Boardman⁩ last night was that infrastructure built to national standards increases active travel by 20-60% and halves deaths; 'painted lines' increase deaths by 10% and don't increase active travel at all.
