This is the bug that's been slowly draining my sanity. Happens like, 1 in every 1000 times I throw an enemy. Don't you worry. One of these days I'll squish it good! #indiegames#gamedev
@wrench_labs Thanks! I had an idea for a brawler with loads of enemies and controls inspired by my favourites, but quickly realised that viability was an issue with detailed art... Then I was inspired by Double Dragon on the A2600 to see if I could solve that problem with the game's style.
Went back to my original code for #MiniBrawl as I was having so much fun with it & have just thrown in the first 6 enemies. The guys in this sped-up vid are all the same class so pretty much behave the same way, but it was fun dancing with 'em all the same. #indiegames#gamedev
We've just released Safe House.
Sooooo much work went into the visuals on this one. The writer was awesome though so it only seemed right to do it justice.
If you get a chance to play it, I really hope you enjoy it.

Rather proud of this one.
Last year I had the privilege of working with the great Hugo Matt of @KnightmareTV fame on this brilliant project...
And now you can play it for free on @RichCastApp

Hey! I haven't done #ScreenshotSaturday in years. As I'm back at the #indiegamedev thing, it seems like a good day to submit recent work.
Starting #MiniBrawl over from scratch while re-learning to code in C#. So far, I've managed to quantise movement and framerate. Good start.
So for those who don't know, #Minibrawl got put on hold when Adobe revoked my Director licence (long story) and I've been psyching myself up to starting over in something a bit more current... Unity, to be exact.
Well, I've started.

Throwing my own little spotlight on our in-title artist for last week's RichCast release "A Fish Out of Water".
You can check out more of Christina Mieses' fantastic art at her Instagram account, here.

As a few folk enjoyed my little pixelated barbarian, I though I'd throw a bit more of him up. This was me developing his very first frame, probably while half watching something on telly. #indiegames#gamedev#pixelartwork
Haven't posted in a while, but occasionally I find myself making something pretty good looking in my free time. Wanted to make something a bit like Rastan, so started animating this little guy a while back. What do we think? is he a keeper?
